Destination Pre Wedding Shoot Amalfi Coast
I had the amazing opportunity to capture Parminder & Pritpal’s destination pre wedding shoot at the Amalfi Coast. The Amalfi Coast is one of Italy’s most spectacular coastlines. It consists of vertical landscapes, cultured villages, a labyrinth of stairways and narrow alleys connecting the mountains and the sea.
We arrived in Naples and were greeted with clear blue skies and beautiful weather – this always brings a smile to my face. We headed to the coast and decided to rest and freshen up before beginning the shoot.
Fiorido Di Furore
On the first day we went to Fiorido di Furore – a quiet and secluded location offering spectacular views. On this particular day the location was full of tourists. The shoot became creatively challenging because I wanted to capture the landscape but avoid the tourists. After a long day of shooting we decided to take a break and reconvene in the evening. This gave us the opportunity to capture the Amalfi Coast in a different perspective.At night the vertical landscape comes to life and is illuminated with beautiful lights. Ravello
On day two we went to Ravello – an enchanting mountain top; surrounded by medieval streets, garden villas and ancient stone pathways. I managed to get my creative juices flowing and captured some beautiful images of the happy couple.
Amalfi
On our last day we travelled along the Amalfi Coastline locating picturesque spots. We spotted a small secluded beach and headed down the hillside towards it. The local villagers told us that we needed to hire a boat to get to the beach. We decided to board the boat and make our way to the beach. Whilst en route we managed to come across some amazing locations to shoot at.
The entire shoot was a huge success and an experience I will never forget. Working with Parminder and Pritpal was great and we were able to get to know one another better before their big day.
